Green Banana Paper brought exclusive handmade products from Micronesia to the ASD Market Week trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the Pasifika Festival in New Zealand last month.
ASD Market Week was a four-day event with registered business buyers from around the globe. The show hosted over 2,700 exhibiting companies and 45,000 attendees from 90+ companies. This was the first business trade show for Green Banana Paper and we were honored to receive the Best In Show award!
The Pasifika Festival in Auckland, New Zealand united islanders for a celebration of Pacific Island cultures and heritage. Pacific Trade Invest works with private companies to promote business and improve the livelihoods of people in the following Pacific countries: Cook Islands, Fiji, Federated States of Micronesia, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, New Caledonia, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tahiti, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu. The Pasifika Festival was a fantastic opportunity to meet & network with other creative minds throughout the Pacific region.
We intend to share these vegan handmade banana fiber wallets and other paper products throughout the Pacific region and around the world. Our team is proud to represent Micronesia as a sustainable development influence!
